    You check your agreement for the notice period and minimum term. I check who your domain is registered to. Then we both know where we stand.

  2. Build

    I build the new site and move your content and photos across. Your old site stays up the whole time. Most builds take 3–5 working days.

  3. Switch

    When you're happy, I point your domain at the new site — or get it transferred into your name first if it isn't already — and update your Google listing to match.

  4. Cancel

    Once the new site is live, you cancel the old plan. Done in that order, there's no gap where customers can't find you.

How long does it actually take?

Seven business days from the day you send me your content (photos, business details, any specific copy you want). If I miss that, I take $150 off your invoice.

Will I lose my Google ranking?

Keeping your domain and redirecting the old page addresses is what protects it, and I do both wherever the domain allows. Rankings can wobble for a few weeks after any rebuild while Google catches up, and nobody can promise you a position.

Who owns my domain?

It's worth checking — sometimes it was registered by whoever set up the site, not by you. I'll look it up. If it isn't in your name, we work on getting it transferred to you. Worst case, you start fresh on a new domain and I point your Google listing at it.

I'm still in a contract. Can I leave?

Check your agreement for the notice period and minimum term before you cancel anything. I can build your new site now and have it ready, then we switch over as soon as you're free.

What does the $29/mo hosting cover?

Australian servers, 99.9% uptime SLA, daily backups, free SSL certificate, security updates, and small changes (text tweaks, new photos, updated phone numbers) during business hours.

Do I need to know anything technical?

No. Send me your current website address and I'll handle the rest — the domain, hosting, Google Business, moving your content across. If you want to edit things yourself later I can set that up, otherwise just email me when something needs changing.
